When I turned forty, I realized that my core was not as strong as it had been, or I would like it to be. I am a runner and felt that my form was suffering, my mileage decreasing, and injuries increasing. I did some research and discovered that Pilates was an excellent solution. I found The Sculpting Studio and have been taking classes from Janet ever since. Within a few weeks I felt stronger, and within a few months there was a significant difference in the strength and stability of my core. By adding Pilates to my weekly workout routine I have regained proper running form by correcting balance, mobility and breathing, all the while strengthening the core muscles that support running. I am a busy mom and coach as well and feel healthier and stronger in my daily life since discovering Pilates. As an added bonus, Janet makes class a lot of fun and I have met many wonderful people at The Sculpting Studio.

I love the individual attention you get at The Sculpting Studio. Jan is right there to help you with the reformer and positioning instead of being lost in a big class of 30 or more. The small group class is perfect for me; the women in the classes have become friends who truly care about one another. I suffer from chronic pain and I have now found an exercise routine that I can do and feel great about myself again after years of frustration. I leave The Sculpting Studio feeling great about myself. It is more than an exercise studio, it is a haven of happiness.
